Value Added Assembly

Many of our customers want more than traditional sheet metal services. In response, we have developed expertise in value added assembly work. Some of the enclosures we fabricate include as many as 30 component parts, including 200 pieces of hardware. In addition, we can perform straightforward electronic assembly using customer supplied parts.

Custom Painting and Silk Screening

Custom painting and silk screening require high cosmetic standards. Apex prides itself on the quality of its painting and silk screening. We generally use Sherwin-Williams Polane polyurethane enamel on metal parts, unless otherwise specified. Depending on the size of your job, we can paint your parts using our conveyor system or in a batch mode.

Often our customers want portions of their parts to remain unpainted. While this operation is not as glamorous as some of our high tech processes, careful and accurate masking is an extremely critical component in the Apex quality train. Our staff is well qualified to meet your exact requirements.

Apex has a dedicated silk screening capability. Using customer supplied artwork, we create (burn) the silk screen per your specification. Our screening process produces quality parts at an affordable price.

Powder Coating

Apex utilizes a batch powder coating system. We apply powder from all the major suppliers that serve our area. Either standard colors or special color matching is available. Our modern powder coating equipment gets the job done.
