We believe quality must be built in, not inspected in. The purpose of QC inspection is to verify that we are meeting our customer’s and our own quality standards, not to find out if we are making good parts.

 

ISO 9001:2000

 

Apex is ISO 9001:2000 certified. We have been an ISO certified company since April 3, 2000. Our current certification expires on June 20, 2009. While some may view ISO solely as a marketing tool, we use ISO principles, along with lean manufacturing techniques, to continually improve as a company.

 

AS 9100:2001

 

Apex recently began the process of becoming AS 9100:2001 certified. When received, this certification will enhance our ability to serve the Aerospace industry. In addition, the documentation and traceability requirements of AS 9100:2001 will benefit all phases of our operation.

 

Underwriter Laboratories Certification

 

Apex has UL certification to apply various EMI-RFI-ESD shielding products (metalized paint) to a variety of plastic substrates.
